Matthew S. Coles is a Partner with Coles Barton, LLP, a law firm he founded in 2009. The firm focuses on commercial and medical malpractice litigation. Matt has been a member of the Holy Spirit Prep community for many years, participating as a parent, whose three daughters attended HSP, and as a Trustee and legal counsel. For 30 years he has been an active member of his parish, St. Lawrence in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Matt has practiced law for 34 years. Prior to starting his own firm, he was a partner in the litigation department of Smith Gambrell & Russell LLP. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University where he was a National Merit scholar all four years. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Georgia where he was a member of the Moot Court Team and was elected to the Order of Barristers.
